Ezra Blackwood is an American abstract artist living in Central Connecticut. Intrinsically motivated and passionate, Ezra’s original abstract art and digital paintings have been described as being both “captivating and alluring” simultaneously. When viewing his portfolio for the first time, one is under the impression that the works presented are the creations of several talented artists. The distinct collections, however, are the efforts of but one. Intriguing abstract art, contemporary collage-style art, photorealistic art, unique portraits, and his intricate and vibrant nature art are but a few of the styles you will discover when you delve into Blackwood’s body of work.

Hailing from the wonderful world of Human Resources, he discovered his passion and ability to create art after taking a leave of absence following a recent cancer diagnosis in 2016. After seeing and experiencing first-hand, both the therapeutic healing power and potential locked away within his own creative side, it is Ezra’s fervent hope that he can inspire and encourage other’s to exercise their own innate creative ability using his art.

His art can be seen in various hospitals and businesses along the East Coast of the United States, as well as in private collections across the country.
